"WTF" are you getting so angry at?

My idea was perfectly sound and alot more reasonable the simple "replacing" of players automatically.

If that happened, the game would be far toooo easy, and boring.

Part of the challenge of the game is finding or creating a good team before you go into a mission or quest.

The challenge comes from how you survive when team members leave. The game is meant to have some frustration to it.

Dont get me wrong, I appreciate how annoying it is when people leave, but I wouldnt ask for a hench to just magically apear in their place.

You could virtually walk through the entire game with ease otherwise.

And what if your questing alone, or with teams which are less then the max you can take?

Would the game automatically fill the spaces?

I agree we need a way to replace those who leave IN QUESTS. But for someone to just apear is nonsense. Have them be replaced by Hiring henches from res points and it makes more sense.

Plus then we have a choice about whether we want the player replaced.

But bare in mind....

....if the autoreplace was in place, what do you do if your entire team is lvl20, but the henches in the area are all lvl17? Does the player get replaced by a lvl17 or lvl20.

If it was to be a lvl20, then it sounds to me like a good way to exploit the game in some way. Im not sure how, but Im sure it would.

Plus if the player who left had -60dp and was poisoned or injured, would the new replacment be afflicated with the same conditions?

Would the new replacement have the exact same armor, weapons, stats, runes ass the replacement character?

The replacement hench might have worse gear, or better gear then the player they replace.

You cant have an exact duplicate be created for a player as it would take a whole new system to be created, so that would also lead to disadvantages or advantages.

Sticking to my idea about hiring henches from res points is the best solution I can see. But at a price. And make the hench lvl relavant to the location.

No no....

I think there is OBVIOUS reasons why this would/should/could never be added.

To freekedoutfish:In a game where bikinis give more armor than full plate mail who care's about realism?

But yeah I have to agree with rxtracid, you could basically bot farm low level areas just by doing that. If they added that you'd have to get 0 drops

You mean by adding hire-able henches to res points? I dont see how that could be exploited to bot farm.

Unless you meant the previous posters comment about having an A.I button to replace you while you pee; In which case I agree. Im a poet and I didnt know it!!!

In respect to realism though.

Im not saying the game dinamics should be ultra-realistic to the laws of nature and physics, but to have a hench magically apear in your party team when someone leaves is a bit unexplainable.

As for Bikini armor giving more protection. Atleast that can be explained..... I imagine! Those upper body parts need alot of protection from impacts. We dont want those female warriors damaging their goods.

But I do think it would be nice if we had a way to replace leavers in instances (not missions - mission should be vulnerable to leavers).

I cant really see hire-able henches from res-points being exploitable. Your not giving people access to anything they didnt have anyway.

And im guessing it would be relatively easy to impliment. We already have NPCs at res-points who can fight and heal.

Im not suggesting we have every profession available to hire. Perhaps just monks, warriors and elementals, or some other combination.

Or perhaps half at one res-point and the rest at another.

And their lvl would be limited to the area their in.

And you would be limited to only two of each profession in your party, to stop you hiring a 3rd monk, or 3rd warrior, etc etc.

They might not even be the standard characters. They could be luxon or kuzack guards or healers which already exist there (or similar types in Tyria or Elonia).

And the cost wouldnt be cheap. 100-200g perhaps.
